This innovation transforms the experience of live footy, making it immersive and inclusive like never before. This device allows visually impaired participants to experience the game like never before signal events like goals or behinds, giving users real-time tactile feedback with vibrational cues.
This device was co-designed with Vision Australia and the vision impaired / blind community. It is a handheld tablet device that features a CNC-Machined tactile map of the AFL field. A ring-shaped magnet mimics the balls on field movement! This device opens up a new way to experience AFL and is available free of charge at marvel stadium. This device does require pre-booking from guest services.
